The Warriors Beat James and Cavs in Game 1, 104-89
Warriors’ Andrew Bogut, (L), and Draymond Green, (R), edge out Cav's Kevin Love for a rebound.
Giving that depth matters, the Golden State Warriors passed efforts from the MVP Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to rout the Cavs 104/89 thank's largely to a big game from their whole bench.
Shaun Livingston led GSW with a carerr post season high pf 20 points and seven GSW players scored in double figures.
Lebron had 23 point, 12 rebounds and 9 asst. And Kyrie had 26 points, however their bench got outscoed 45-9, leaving them no way of keeping up.
Neither team dominated outside the 3-point arc, but the Golden State Warriors had big edge in terms of assists and decreasing turnovers, which made the transcendence performance by Curry (11 points) and Thompson (9) largely irrelevant.
With 2nd Game set for Sunday night in Oakland California, the Warriors will look to take a commanding 2-0 lead in their journey for back-to-back NBA Champion Titles.
